Let’s work together starting from where you are and focusing on the aspects of your health and longevity that matter to you so you can get well and stay well.
I have always been fascinated by movement. Growing up I played basketball year-round and experienced my share of ailments. That is where I first fell in love with how the body works. I still lead a very active lifestyle, and through my own journey with exercise have continued to explore ways to make wellness both fun and practical.
My interest in movement and medicine brought me to Elon University where I graduated in 2010 with a degree in Exercise Sport Science. I continued my education at Elon University and received my Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2013. I then returned home to Massachusetts and began working for Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital in Framingham, consistently one of the top three rehabilitation hospitals in the country.
In 2015, I completed a yearlong fellowship with the Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy (IOMT) which included over 400 hours of specialized training in hands on techniques and practical applications.
In 2017, I became a Board- Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS), an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) recognized credentialed physical therapist. Many additional hours of continuing education each year advance my specialization skills and exceptional multi-faceted care in physical therapy.
My areas of special interest include geriatrics, pain science, spine pathology, ergonomics, pregnancy/post-partum, and sport related injuries.
When I am not helping others, I enjoy my husband’s fine cooking and cheering on our beloved Boston sports teams together. I am a mother to our two young children, and two dogs. I have also rekindled my love for basketball by becoming a basketball official for local youth programs since 2017.
